Montreal Canadiens goaltender Sam Montembeault hasn't been ruled out from playing in Game 4 against the Washington Capitals just yet.
Canadiens head coach Martin St. Louis told reporters Saturday that Montembeault is still being evaluated, a day after leaving midway through Game 3 due to a lower-body injury.
Jakub Dobes entered the game in relief and made seven saves on eight shots to help the Canadiens win 6-3 and earn their first victory of the first-round series.
Montembeault wasn't the only netminder to exit the game.
Capitals goaltender Logan Thompson needed help off the ice in the third period after teammate Dylan Strome crashed into him.
Washington holds a 2-1 series lead as Montreal looks to even things up at home.
