Montreal Canadiens winger Jonathan Drouin will not play Thursday night against the visiting New York Islanders after a puck hit him in the head during a game versus the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday.

"There's no concussion, but he still got a puck to the head and there's a bruise there," Canadiens coach Dominique Ducharme said.

Defenceman Alexander Romanov will return to the Habs' lineup, along with centre Adam Brooks.
