Montreal Canadiens forward Paul Byron sustained a lower-body injury during Tuesday's game at home against the Minnesota Wild.

Byron saw just four minutes, 41 seconds of ice time during the first period before exiting the contest.

The 32-year-old from Ottawa has played in only 27 games this season due to injuries and has recorded four goals and three assists.

The Canadiens next play host to the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday.
