The Montreal Canadiens continued to round out their roster depth, re-signing forward Sean Farrell to a one-year, two-way deal, the team announced Wednesday.
Farrell, 23, had 44 points (20 goals and 24 assists) in 67 games with the Laval Rocket last season.
The Hopkinton, Mass. native ranked third on the Rocket in points and fifth in goals. Farrell also scored three goals and added seven helpers in 13 playoff games with Laval.
Farrell was selected in the fourth round, 124th overall, by the Canadiens in the 2020 NHL Draft. He scored one goal in six games with Montreal in 2022-23.
