Canadiens recall forward Jesse Ylonen from Laval

The Montreal Canadiens have recalled forward Jesse Ylonen from the AHL's Laval Rocket, the NHL team announced Wednesday.

Ylonen has eight goals and 19 assists in 34 games for Laval this season.

A second-round draft choice (35th overall) by Montreal in 2018, Ylonen has two goals and three assists in 15 career games for the Canadiens.

Ylonen has not played in the NHL this season.
