Montreal Canadiens forward Sean Monahan was forced to leave Monday's game against the Vancouver Canucks for an undisclosed reason.
The Canadiens announced late in the second period that Monahan would not be returning.
Before leaving the game, Monahan scored his sixth goal of the season as part of a four-goal first period for the Canadiens. However, the Canucks rallied back in dramatic fashion to win the game 7-6 in overtime.
