Rafaël Harvey-Pinard signed a two-year contract extension with the Montreal Canadiens worth $2.2 million, the team announced on Monday.
The AAV of the deal is $1.1 million.
Harvey-Pinard, 24, had 14 goals and six assists for 20 points in 34 games with the Canadiens in 2022-23. The Saguenay, Que., native played his first game for the club on Jan. 17, and led all rookies in goals since his debut.
Harvey-Pinard was taken by Canadiens in the seventh round (201st overall) in the 2019 NHL Draft.
