Canadiens sign Paquette to one-year, $950,000 contract

The Montreal Canadiens have signed former Carolina Hurricanes forward Cedric Paquette to a one-year contract worth $950,000.

Paquette skated in 47 games in 2020-21 with both the Hurricanes as well as the Ottawa Senators, tallying eight points on four goals and four assists with the two teams. He also had one assist in four playoff appearances with the Hurricanes.
