The Montreal Canadiens have agreed to a three-year entry-level deal with their fourth-round 2021 draft pick William Trudeau, the team announced Friday.
The 20-year-old defenceman will earn $750,000 at the NHL level in 2022-23 along with a signing bonus of $92,500. Trudeau will earn $10,500 if he plays at the Junior level, and will make $80,000 at the AHL level.
With the QMJHL's Charlottetown Islanders, Trudeau totalled 90 points on 20 goals and 70 assists in 166 games over three seasons.
