Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser is "getting close" to a return and is a game-time decision for Tuesday's contest against the New Jersey Devils, head coach Bruce Boudreau said Monday.
Boeser last played on Oct. 22 due to an undisclosed injury. The 25-year-old winger previously underwent hand surgery after suffering an injury in training camp, but ultimately participated in Vancouver's first six games of the season.
In those six games, Boeser has produced four assists.
Boudreau did not have any updates on Travis Dermott or Tucker Poolman, both of whom are currently out.
The Canucks are currently 2-5-2 and sixth in the Pacific Division this season. They'll hope to push their winning streak to three games when the Devils visit town Tuesday at 7 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. ET on Sportsnet 360.
