The Vancouver Canucks and their fans can breathe a sigh of relief: their No. 1 goaltender and his prized pet tortoises have made it across the U.S.-Canada border.

In an update posted to Twitter on Friday, Brandi Holtby said her husband, Braden Holtby, and their two reptilian friends had made it to Canada and thanked everyone for their concern.

On Wednesday, Brandi Tweeted that the couple needed help in securing export papers from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for their pets and Braden was stuck at the border with the two tortoises.
