The Vancouver Canucks are adding a waiver pickup to their roster.
The team claimed forward Curtis Douglas off waivers from the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday, per Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
Douglas, 26, has spent the majority of his professional career in the AHL, playing for affiliates of the Ottawa Senators, Toronto Maple Leafs and Arizona Coyotes before landing with the Lightning organization.
He made his NHL debut this season, playing 29 games with the big club where he registered two assists. His last game was Feb. 5 against the Florida Panthers.
Elsewhere, the Panthers claimed Cole Reinhardt off waivers, while the Philadelphia Flyers claimed Luke Glendening.
