Gain one defenceman, lose another.
The Vancouver Canucks got captain Quinn Hughes back in the lineup on Wednesday for their game against the Calgary Flames, however, they will now be without veteran Tyler Myers.
Myers, 35, played in Tuesday's game against the Montreal Canadiens and appeared to be in some discomfort after blocking a couple of late shots.
He was a minus-3 in the Canucks' 4-2 loss and logged 19:12 of ice time.
Over 61 games this season, Myers has accumulated 21 points (four goals and 17 assists).
Meanwhile, forward Jonathan Lekkerimaki will also miss Wednesday's game.
The 20-year-old also played Tuesday, finishing the night as a minus-one and recording one shot and 9:33 of ice time.
