The Vancouver Canucks have placed defenceman Tucker Poolman on injured reserve, the team announced Monday.
The Canucks have recalled Guillaume Brisebois from AHL Abbotsford to fill his spot.
Poolman exited a game in Philadelphia on Oct. 15 with an undisclosed injury. He returned to the lineup in Columbus three days later after missing one game, but has since missed two more contests.
Poolman had one goal and two assists in 40 games for the Canucks last season.
Brisebois, 25, has played 10 career NHL games. He has played most of his pro career in the AHL.
The Canucks also are missing top defenceman Quinn Hughes (lower-body injury).
The Canucks host the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday at 10:30 p.m. ET / 7:30 p.m. PT on Sportsnet Pacific and SN NOW.
