Canucks re-sign Brandon Sutter to one-year, $1.125M contract

Veteran centre Brandon Sutter is returning to the Vancouver Canucks on a one-year, $1.125 million contract.

Sutter, who has been with the Canucks since the 2015-16 season, had nine goals and 12 points in 43 games with the Canucks last season. That included the first hat trick of his career.

The 32-year-old has appeared in 770 NHL games with the Hurricanes, Penguins and Canucks over 13 seasons and has 152 goals and 289 points.
