The Vancouver Canucks are signing defenceman Jett Woo to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 at the NHL level, the team announced on Tuesday.
Woo, 24, helped the AHL’s Abbotsford Canucks win the 2025 Calder Cup for the first time in franchise history.
The Manitoba native appeared in 67 games and finished with 18 points for Abbotsford in 2024-25. Woo also recorded six points in 22 playoff contests.
He was selected with the 37th overall pick by the Canucks in the 2018 NHL Draft. At the time, Woo was the second highest pick of Chinese descent.
