Vancouver Canucks General Manager Mike Gillis announced that the Canucks have acquired a conditional pick in 2009 from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for defenceman James Sharrow.
Sharrow, 23, became a Vancouver Canuck when he was acquired from Atlanta in exchange for Jesse Schultz on June 23, 2007. Over the past two seasons, Sharrow has recorded 28 points (6-22-28) in 61 games played with the Manitoba Moose. During that span, Sharrow did not dress for a Vancouver Canucks game.
