The Washington Capitals have re-signed defenceman Bobby Nardella to a two-year, $1.5-million deal, the team announced on Thursday.
Nardella’s first year will be a two-way contract and the second year will be a one-way deal.
The 25-year-old Nardella has yet to suit up for an NHL game in his career. A native of Illinois, Nardella spent the 2020-21 season with Sweden’s Djurgårdens IF, where he recorded 33 points in 47 games. He played four years of college hockey with the University of Notre Dame.
