The forward re-signed on a two-year, $1.8 million contract, the team announced on Saturday.

He's appeared in his first two NHL games this season, debuting Dec. 13 against the Winnipeg Jets.
In 30 games with the AHL's Hershey Bears, the six-foot-three Russian has recorded nine goals and 11 assists.
Over 157 career AHL games, Trineyev has 32 goals and 26 assists.
