The Colorado Avalanche announced on Friday the signing of Jason Polin to a one-year contract through the 2025-26 season.
The 26-year-old was limited to 39 games with the Colorado Eagles (AHL) due to a lower-body injury last season.
He recorded 19 points with 11 goals and eight assists this past season.
Polin played 88 total games with the Eagles from 2022-25, logging a total of 30 career points.
The six-foot forward also played for Western Michigan University from 2019-23. He served as team captain in his senior year and led all NCAA players with 30 goals.
Polin was also the National Collegiate Hockey Conference's Player of the Year and a Hobey Baker finalist.
Polin was signed by Colorado as a college free agent in 2023 and made his NHL debut with the Avalanche on Jan. 8, 2024.
