The Arizona Coyotes have acquired defencemen Anton Stralman, Vladislav Kolyachonok and a second-round pick in 2024 from the Florida Panthers in exchange for a seventh-rounder in 2023, per Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.

The deal was orchestrated to free up cap space for the Panthers, which could be used to sign defenceman Ryan Suter, per George Richards of Florida Hockey Now.

Stralman, 34, registered three goals and six assists in 38 games with the Panthers this past season.

Kolyachonok, 20, was selected in the second round (52nd overall) in 2019 by the Panthers. He has yet to play an NHL game.
