The Arizona Coyotes have signed veteran forward Derick Brassard to a one-year deal.

Brassard spent the 2019-20 season with the New York Islanders, scoring 10 goals and 32 points in 66 games while adding two goals and eight points in 18 post-season games.

“We are very pleased to welcome Derick to our Pack,” general manager Bill Armstrong said in a statement. “Derick is an experienced, skilled forward who can play center or wing and contribute offensively. He is also very effective in the face-off circle. We look forward to having him in our lineup this season.”

The Coyotes will be the fifth different team Brassard will play for since the 2018-19 season. In 852 career games, the Hull Que., native has 186 goals and 483 points.
