In 48 games this season with the KHL’s Severstal Cherepovets, the 25-year-old had 10 goals and 10 assists. Provolnev’s 10 goals were good to tie for fifth among KHL defencemen.
“We are very pleased to sign Vladislav,” said Coyotes General Manager Bill Armstrong via a team media release. “He is a big, strong defenceman who skates well and plays a physical style. He also has a good shot and can contribute offensively. He will be another good blueline prospect for us.”
