Dallas Stars general manager Jim Nill announced on Monday that the team is signing forward Emilio Pettersen to one year, two-way deal for the 2024-25 season.
A sixth-round draft pick of the Calgary Flames in 2018, the 24-year-old was acquired by the Stars via trade in March of 2024. The 5-foot-11 Norwegian has suited up for a total of 215 AHL games, split between Stockton/Calgary and Texas, posting 122 points (49 goals, 73 assists). He also added two goals and three assists through seven playoff games with the Texas Stars this past post season.
Prior to his pro career, Pettersen played with the University of Denver for two seasons where he contributed 65 points in 76 games.
