Dan Vladar signed an two-year deal worth $6.7 million with the Philadelphia Flyers, the team announced Tuesday.,
The 27-year-old netminder had a 12-11-6 record, 2.80 goals against average and .898 save percentage last season while serving as the backup to breakout Calgary Flames phenom Dustin Wolf.
While Vladar has yet to take on a starter’s workload in his five-year career, his 30 appearances in 2023-24 were a career high.
The Prague, Czechia, native was drafted in the third round of the 2015 draft by the Boston Bruins and spent only one season in Beantown before making the move west to Calgary.
