David Perron isn't ready to hang up the skates just yet.
The 38-year-old forward is joining the Dallas Stars for his 20th NHL season, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported on Thursday.
Perron is an unrestricted free agent.
The Sherbrooke, Que. native has 1,239 NHL games under his belt, with 332 goals and 812 points across his two-decade career. He was drafted 26th overall in 2007 by the St. Louis Blues and played three stints with the team — from 2007-2013 then a single season in 2016-17, then from 2018-2022. He won a Stanley Cup with the Blues in 2019.
The one-time all-star split last season between the Ottawa Senators and Detroit Red Wings, amassing 13 goals and 28 points in 65 games.
The Stars will be Perron's eighth different team. He's also played for the Edmonton Oilers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Anaheim Ducks and Vegas Golden Knights.
