Calle Rosen has a new home.
The defenceman signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Washington Capitals, the team announced Wednesday.
Rosen, a 31-year-old Swede, spent last season with the AHL's Colorado Eagles, notching 10 goals and 24 assists.
He last appeared in the NHL two seasons ago with the St. Louis Blues, when he had one assist in six games.
A veteran of 93 NHL contests, Rosen has 11 goals and 20 assists in his career with the Blues, Colorado Avalanche and Toronto Maple Leafs.
