John Klingberg's career has come to an end.
The defenceman announced his retirement from professional hockey on Friday.
Klingberg appeared in 700 NHL games across 12 seasons with six different franchises. He spent the bulk of his tenure with the Dallas Stars before making brief stops in Anaheim, Minnesota, Toronto, Edmonton and San Jose.
The 34-year-old totalled 92 goals and 351 assists for 443 points in his career.
Injuries unfortunately became a major issue for Klingberg as his career progressed, but early on he made the all-rookie team and finished sixth in Norris Trophy voting in 2015-16.
Klingberg also played in 82 career playoff games, garnering 43 points (nine goals, 34 assists).
