New Jersey Devils star centre Jack Hughes is week-to-week with an upper-body injury, coach Lindy Ruff told reporters Tuesday.
Hughes took an awkward fall late in last Friday's game against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Hughes was recently picked as one of the first 32 players for the All-Star game, his third selection to the game. He leads the team in points with 15 goals and 30 assists in 32 games this season. He missed five games in November with another upper-body injury.
Picked first overall by the Devils in 2019, Hughes had a career-high 99 points in 78 games last season.
