New Jersey Devils defenceman Christian Jaros has entered the NHL's COVID-19 protocol, joining teammates Nico Hischier and Ryan Graves, the team announced Monday.

Forward Yegor Sharangovich has not entered protocol, but did not practise for precautionary reasons.

Hischier and Graves remain in protocol after entering prior to Saturday's game against the New York Islanders. The Devils' next game is scheduled for Tuesday against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Jaros has played three games so far this season after signing a one-year, $800-thousand deal with the club via free agency.

Hischier is third in team scoring with three goals and 13 assists for 16 points in 25 games. Graves has three goals and seven assists for 10 points in 25 games.
