The New Jersey Devils are re-upping with one of their depth defencemen.
Blueliner Dennis Cholowski has agreed to a one-year, $775,000 contract to return to the Devils, the team announced Tuesday.
Cholowski, 27, was acquired by New Jersey at the 2025 trade deadline from the New York Islanders in exchange for forward Adam Beckman.
In his short stint with the Devils, he played six regular-season and two playoff games but was held without a point.
Since being drafted by the Detroit Red Wings 20th overall in 2016, the Langley, B.C. native has 13 goals and 27 assists in 156 games split between the Red Wings, Seattle Kraken, Washington Capitals, Islanders and Devils.
