The New Jersey Devils have re-signed forward Marc McLaughlin to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced Tuesday.
The contract will hold an NHL cap hit of $775,000 and will be worth $350,000 at the AHL level.
McClaughlin, 25, was acquired by the Devils in March from the Boston Bruins. He posted one assist in the two appearances he made with New Jersey to end the 2024-25 season.
The six-foot, 200-pound forward spent most of his time post-trade with the Utica Comets (Devils' AHL affiliate), logging six assists while finishing plus-five in 16 appearances.
Before the trade, he split the 2024-25 season in the NHL/AHL between Boston (two goals in 12 games) and Providence (five goals and nine assists in 34 games).
McLaughlin originally signed with the Bruins as an unrestricted free agent in March 2022. He's totalled 28 NHL appearances since, all with Boston, logging six goals and an assist in that span.
