Devils re-sign forward Brian Halonen to two-year contract extension

The New Jersey Devils have re-signed forward Brian Halonen to a two-year, two-way contract.

The deal pays Halonen $775,000 at the NHL level and $175,000 at the American Hockey League level next season. During the 2025-26 season, the 25-year-old will make $775,000 at the NHL level and $275,000 at the AHL level.

Halonen made his NHL debut with the Devils back in February. He appeared in two games in the NHL and played 35 games in the AHL with the Utica Comets where he had 20 goals and 29 assists.
