The New Jersey Devils announced Monday that they have agreed to a three-year, entry-level contract with Alexander Holtz, kicking off in the 2021-22 season. Exact terms of the deal were not released.
Holtz also agreed to an AHL amateur try-out agreement with the Binghamton Devils for the remainder of the 2020-21 season. He will join the team when he finishes his quarantine period.

The forward spent the past season playing for Djurgardens of the Swedish Hockey League, where he had seven goals and 18 assists in 40 games.
A first-round pick of the Devils in the 2020 NHL Draft, Holtz has represented Sweden at the past two World Junior Championships.
