The New Jersey Devils have signed forward Adam Beckman to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 at the NHL level, the team announced Monday.
The contract is worth $125,000 at the AHL level and has $150,000 guaranteed.
Beckman, 23, was acquired by the Devils in June as part of the deal that sent Graeme Clarke to the Minnesota Wild.
He made his NHL debut in the 2021-22 season and since then has played in 23 total NHL games, tallying three assists over that span. He mostly played for the Iowa Wild last season, Minnesota's AHL affiliate, and picked up 19 goals and 14 assists in 51 games.
The Saskatoon, Sask., native was drafted in the third round, 75th overall at the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
