Keith Kinkaid is heading back to the New Jersey Devils after signing a one-year, two-way contract Wednesday.
He will earn $775,000 in the NHL and $350,000 in the American Hockey League.
Kinkaid made his NHL debut with the Devils during 2012-13 and spent six seasons with the club.
The 34-year-old goaltender from Farmingville, N.Y., split last season between the Boston Bruins and the Colorado Avalanche and posted a 1.37 goals-against average and .950 save percentage over two games.
He had a 12-10-4 record over 27 games with the Providence Bruins and Colorado Eagles in the AHL.
Kinkaid holds a career 70-58-21 record, 2.91 GAA and .905 save percentage over 10 seasons with the Devils, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, Bruins and Avalanche.
