Here we go hockey fans, the NHL is back at the Olympics.
After the NHL, NHLPA and IIHF reached an agreement for players to participate in the 2022 Beijing Winter Games, fans and media alike rejoiced in the prospect of seeing best-on-best on the world's biggest stage.
It's the sixth time that NHL players will be competing at the Olympics and the first since Sochi 2014 after the NHL missed the 2018 Games.
Barring unforeseen circumstances, dreams of watching Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid don the red and white together should finally be realized in 2022.
Here's some of the best reaction to the news:
"I think for any Canadian kid growing up playing the game you want to play in the @NHL, you want to win a Stanley Cup & right there next on the list is representing your country at the Olympics & winning a gold medal."
Connor McDavid

In order to give everyone else a fighting chance in Beijing, the IOC/IIHF should make it illegal for Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon and Sidney Crosby to play on a line together.

Possible Canada lines, just for fun, and in no particular order:
Point-McDavid-MacKinnon
Marchand-Crosby-Bergeron
Marner-Barzal-Scheifele
O’Reilly-Couturier-Stone

Nathan MacKinnon, Conor McDavid and Sidney Crosby are going to be playing on the same team. Dreams do come true.
