Ducks acquire forward Ben Meyers from Avalanche for fifth-round pick

The Colorado Avalanche have traded forward Ben Meyers to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a 2024 fifth-round pick, the teams announced Friday.

Meyers, 25, played nine games for the Avalanche this season and registered one goal. In 32 AHL games with the Colorado Eagles, he has 11 goals and 14 assists.

The University of Minnesota product has played 53 career NHL games with the Avalanche and has recorded six goals.
