Anaheim Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf returned to the lineup Saturday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Getzlaf missed five games due to a lower-body injury he sustained Nov. 30 against the Los Angeles Kings.
The 36-year-old from Regina is tied for third on the Ducks in scoring with 20 points (one goal and a team-leading 19 assists) in 23 games this year, his 17th season with the club.
Getzlaf, who has 1,002 career points, surpassed Teemu Selanne earlier this season to become the Ducks’ all-time leading scorer.
