The Anaheim Ducks re-signed restricted free agent defenceman Urho Vaakanainen to a two-year contract on Friday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Vaakanainen arrived via trade on March 19 from the Boston Bruins as part of the deal for defenceman Hampus Lindholm.

The 23-year-old from Joensuu, Finland, recorded two assists in 14 games with the Ducks.

Drafted 18th overall by the Bruins in 2017, Vaakanainen has eight assists in 45 games with Boston and Anaheim.
