The Anaheim Ducks announced Wednesday the signing of left-winger Nikita Nesterenko to a two-year, one-way contract extension.
The deal is valid through the 2026-27 NHL season with a $787,500 average annual value, per the Athletic's Eric Stevens.
The 23-year-old forward has logged four goals and two assists in 20 NHL games throughout the 2024-25 season. Nesterenko has eight total points in 32 career appearances, all with the Ducks.
The six-foot-two Brooklyn native also spent time in the American Hockey League with the San Diego Gulls. There, he locked down 34 points and recorded 36 penalty minutes in 50 games. Nesterenko finished fourth on the team for goals.
He was acquired by the Anaheim Ducks from the Minnesota Wild in 2023 along with Andrej Sustr.
