The Anaheim Ducks have signed defenceman Nathan Beaulieu to a one-year, one-way contract, the team announced Saturday.

Drafted 17th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in 2011, Beaulieu was signed to a professional tryout with the Ducks in September. In two exhibition games with the Ducks, he has scored one goal.

The 29-year-old has recorded 12 goals and 94 points over 419 games with the Canadiens, Buffalo Sabres and Winnipeg Jets. He had a career high in points during the 2016-2017 season with the Canadiens, scoring four goals and 24 assists.
