Edmonton Oilers place Jesse Puljujarvi in NHL’s COVID-19 protocol

The Edmonton Oilers have placed winger Jesse Puljujarvi in the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol, the team announced on Saturday.

Puljujarvi joins Ryan McLeod (placed in protocol on Dec. 14), Dave Tippett (head coach, Dec. 14), Devin Shore (Dec. 16), Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (Dec. 17) and Duncan Keith (Dec. 17).

Puljujarvi, 23, is a regular on a line with Connor McDavid and has 10 goals and 13 assists for 23 points in 28 games this season.
