The Carolina Hurricanes are playing coy once again.
While Brandon Bussi appeared in the starter's net at practice on Thursday ahead of Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final (Sportsnet, Sportsnet+, 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT), it's no guarantee that he will begin the game in the crease.
"Everybody's available," Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind'Amour said.
Frederik Andersen, who started every playoff game for the Hurricanes until Bussi took over in Game 4, did not skate with the team but did hit the ice earlier, the coach added.
The Hurricanes evened the series against the Vegas Golden Knights 2-2 in front of Bussi in a 5-3 win on Tuesday.
Bussi, 27, holds a .900 save percentage and 2.28 goals-against average in two appearances during these playoffs. Andersen, 36, owns a .910 save percentage and 1.89 GAA over 16 games, but has struggled during the Stanley Cup Final.
