The Washington Capitals have re-signed defenceman Martin Fehervary to a three-year, $8.025-million extension, the team announced Tuesday.
The Capitals picked the Slovakian in the second round (46th overall) of the 2018 NHL Draft.
The three-time member of Slovakia's world junior team had six goals and 10 assists in 67 games for the Capitals last season.
In 152 career games, the six-foot-two Fehervary has 14 goals and 20 assists for 34 points.
