Juuse Saros will be between the pipes for Finland to begin the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament.
Finland coach Antti Pennanen told reporters Wednesday that Saros will start for the team's opening game Thursday against the U.S. in Montreal.
The Nashville Predators netminder holds an 11-23-6 record, 2.95 goals-against average and .898 save percentage in 41 games this season.
Saros is also tied for second in the league with four shutouts.
Reigning Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebucyk will start in net for the USA.
