The Calgary Flames have acquired goaltender Daniel Vladar from the Boston Bruins in exchange for a 2022 third-round pick, the team announced Wednesday.

Vladar, 23, suited up for five games for Boston during the 2020-21 season, posting an .886 save percentage and 3.40 goals-against average.
He also spent 10 games with the Bruins’ AHL affiliate in 2020-21, posting a .923 save percentage and 2.19 goals-against average, as well as six games with the Czech club Pardubice HC, putting up a .955 and 1.29.
