The Calgary Flames claimed forward Radim Zohorna off waivers from the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday.

Zohorna has one year remaining on his contract at $750,000.

The 26-year-old split last season between the AHL and NHL, producing six points over 17 games in Pittsburgh and 21 points in 39 games with affiliate Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

The six-foot-six Czechia native was not drafted to the NHL.
