Calgary Flames goaltender Jacob Markstrom could return to the net for Saturday's Battle of Alberta matchup against the Edmonton Oilers, according to head coach Ryan Huska.
The Flames announced on Tuesday that Markstrom was day-to-day with a lower-body injury. He has missed two games with the injury, including Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Markstrom, 33, is 13-11-2 this season with a .912 save percentage.
Saturday's game in Calgary is part of Hockey Day in Canada, an all-day celebration of the game featuring all seven Canadian teams in action.
