CALGARY — Rory Kerins' power-play goal at 3:14 of the second period snapped a 1-1 deadlock and lifted the Calgary Flames to a 4-1 win over the visiting Seattle Kraken.
Yegor Sharangovich, Matt Coronato and Sam Morton, with an empty-netter, also scored for the Flames, who took a 2-1 lead into the third period. Hunter Brzustewicz chipped in with two assists.
Mitchell Stephens scored for the Kraken, who were outshot 34-20.
The Kraken were 0-for-3 on the power play, while the Flames went 1-for-3.
The Flames return to action Wednesday in Vancouver against the Canucks.
